Aeroqual releases low concentration Nitrogen Dioxide Sensor (0-200ppb)

After significant research and development, Aeroqual has launched a low concentration NO 2 sensor that is calibrated across the range 0 – 200ppb. This sensor is ideally suited to urban air quality monitoring (eg. the US NAAQS standard is 53ppb or 100µg/m 3 as set by the EPA). This sensor is also insensitive to Nitric Oxide and Ozone making it ideal for outdoor air quality monitoring. This new sensor is compatible with most Aeroqual standard products.

Series 200

Aeroqual increases the functionality of the Hand-held Series 200 gas monitor.

As a result of market place feedback, increased functionality has been added to the popular Series 200 hand-held gas monitor. A new button has been fitted to the key-pad allowing the unit to perform “Zero Calibration”, an important feature in some applications. An audible alarm function is now offered as standard when the Series 200 is used with perchloroethylene sensor heads. These features further enhance the product’s simplicity and ease-of-use all at a cost effective price.

AQM Series of Multi-sensor Air Quality Monitors - Outdoors & Indoors

With the introduction of a number of new gas sensors, Aeroqual is now able to offer a range of multi-gas monitors for use in both indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring.

The AQM Series is a multi-gas monitor capable of delivering high quality data for up to six gases in ambient air environments. The system can be integrated with other components including communications, solar power, particulate monitors, anemometers and weather stations. Sensors are calibrated for specific environmental or industrial air quality applications. Low power and small size allow the unit to be deployed unobtrusively in urban areas or remote sites as well as in mobile applications.

Typical applications include:-

  • Urban air quality monitoring (O3, NO2, CO and VOC)
  • Industrial air quality monitoring (H2S, SO2, CO, CO2, NH3, VOC and halogenated hydrocarbons)
  • Tunnel and roadside pollution monitoring
  • Point source and perimeter monitoring
  • Weather stations
  • Landfills, wastewater and petrochemical plants
  • Concentrated animal feeding operations

Because the AQM Series is very much site specific, it is designed in modular format that allows the product to be tailored to each application.

Aeroqual sensors conquer Antarctic conditions

Recently a research team from Auckland University in New Zealand spent the summer at Scott Base in Antarctica studying tropospheric ozone levels. The Aeroqual Series 500 ozone monitor was used to calculate ozone deposition on snow and ice surfaces.

The Series 500 with replaceable sensor head proved its worth in sub-zero temperatures.

Series 200

Aeroqual launches a New, Portable, Hand-held Series 200 gas monitor.

As a result of increasing requests from the market place for a simple, easy-to-use, low-cost monitor that unaccustomed users can comfortably handle, Aeroqual has launched the Series 200 gas monitor.

As with all Aeroqual monitor, this product is fitted with a removable sensor heads that facilitate sensor head replacement.

The monitor is compatible with the full range of Aeroqual gas sensors and thus is capable of measuring ozone, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), ammonia and carbon monoxide.

While retaining the high levels of accuracy common to all Aeroqual products, this unit has been stripped of all extraneous features which has had the effect of dramatically reducing the unit price to a level where sophisticated but easy-to-use gas monitoring can be introduced into price sensitive markets.
