What does it measure?

The portable particulate sensor measures:

  • Particles 2.5 microns and less (PM2.5)
  • Particles 10 microns and less (PM10)

The PM sensor head plugs into Aeroqual’s existing range of Series 200/300/500 monitors all of which can be used to measure the following range of gases and environmental conditions:

The new PM2.5 & PM10 sensor head clips into the Aeroqual monitor base, just like the existing range of gas sensor heads. At any time one sensor head can be swapped for another. The changeover takes seconds and no configuration or calibration is required. It also makes servicing easy – simply send the sensor head to the service centre, rather than the whole instrument.

Because the PM sensor is compatible with the Series 200/300/500 range, a full range of gas sensors can be used on the same monitor base. The changeover is simple – clip out one sensor head, plug in another, and start measuring. New sensor heads can be ordered at any time.

The PM sensor head is available via our channel partners or factory direct. Shipping within 1-2 weeks from order the PM sensor head is delivered by airfreight to any destination in the world within 2-3 business days. As it is a relatively simple instrument, most customers can set up and start monitoring with minimal external support. Ongoing maintenance is low with the PM sensor expected to last up to 8,000 hours of continuous use. A new sensor head can be ordered at any time without need to return the monitor base to the factory.
