The Aeroqual AQM BTEX monitor is an all-in-one premium air monitoring solution that combines best in class BTEX sensing technology with near reference particulate and gas measurement available in the rugged AQM hardware and software system. Detect benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene in ambient air at very low levels in a fully integrated, compact, all-in-one monitor. Suitable for use on a range of projects, including industrial fenceline monitoring, compliance monitoring, environmental impact assessments, and industrial and occupational hygiene.

Coming fully integrated into Aeroqual’s AQM air monitoring hardware and software platform, the BTEX analyzer is a micro gas chromatograph for real-time environmental monitoring of aromatic VOCs. A temperature-controlled system maximizes the quality of measurements and allows for operation in extreme conditions.
Compact and reliable, the AQM BTEX doesn’t require any carrier gas bottle. The standardized base system is configurable to different project needs, allowing for optional integration of additional sensors, all measurable within the one integrated unit. Purchase only the gas analyzer modules you require and upgrade in the field as needed.
What can it measure?
Measures benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene in ambient air down to 1 part-per-billion levels. The BTEX analyzer combines Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System (MEMS) microfluidics for selective pre-concentration, GC separation, and peak quantification with a miniaturized photo-ionization detector (PID). BTEX in the gas sample is physically separated using a proprietary microcolumn on a chip.
Integrated into the AQM platform, the BTEX analyzer can be used together with meteorological sensors and other sensor-based analyzer modules from Aeroqual such as for particulate matter (TSP, PM10, PM2.5, PM1), ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2), etc.
