The NO2 measurement is unique. We’re using our highly selective GSS ozone sensor to correct for ozone interference on an electrochemical NO2 sensor (a technique patented by Aeroqual).
What this means is that the NO2 measurement is comprised of two measurement modules; a cross sensitive NO2 module, and Aeroqual’s highly selective Ozone module.
This means that when you order the NO2 measurement module you also get an Ozone measurement.
Just like a traditional analyzer using chemiluminescence, this sensor based system can be fully field calibrated using standard calibration equipment and gases. This ensures direct traceability to USEPA (40 CFR Part 53) and EU (2008/50/EC) certified equivalence and reference methods.
In contrast to traditional analyzers using chemiluminescence the NO2 module is compact, lightweight and costs 5 x less to own and operate.
