WHAT DOES IT MEASURE?
The AQM 65 system is modular, with each sensor housed in an analyzer module. You choose the parameters you wish to measure.
This unique hybrid design between sensors and analyzers makes any combination possible and means you can add parameters in the future. Each module is connected with the control system for air sampling, data and power.
We integrate and test the analyzer modules and environmental sensors here at our factory and ship the fully integrated system to you for installation and commissioning.

WHY IS THE AQM 65 UNIQUE?
Sensor-based analyzer modules
The AQM 65 system uses sensor-based analyzer modules, which are a unique hybrid of sensor and analyzer technology. Modules incorporate physical scrubbers and a switching sampling circuit to remove interfering gases, minimize temperature humidity effects, and provide a true zero calibration.
Temperature and humidity control
An integrated Thermal Management System maintains the AQM 65 at a constant temperature +/-0.2 degree C. We combine this with an IP65 rated weatherproof enclosure, solar reflective outer layer and internal insulation, keeping the internal environment stable for optimal performance in tropical to sub-arctic climates.
AQM 65 SYSTEM AND SOFTWARE
Air monitoring software
The Aeroqual Cloud software is accessed via browser on your phone, tablet or PC. You can see all your data in one place and set alerts on parameters of concern. It also allows users to view where your monitors are located on a map, average data, plot charts and manage the instrument remotely.
A flexible communications platform transfers your real-time data wirelessly, via WIFI, cellular modem, or local API. The AQM 65 system has on-board storage capacity to minimize risk of data loss, and data can be downloaded directly from the instrument if required.
Remote diagnostics and support
Communication with your instrument is 2-way and data is collected in real-time, so it’s easy to identify the operational status of the system. An optional remote technical support service maximizes the useful life of the sensors while keeping high quality data flowing.
HOW DOES IT PERFORM?
In head-to-head field trials the AQM 65 demonstrates strong statistical correlation to U.S. EPA and EU approved reference analyzers. Recent colocation field studies in the USA and Australia compared data recorded on the AQM 65 with EPA reference stations.
Connecticut, USA colocation field study
An AQM 65 was installed at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) air monitoring site for four months. The AQM 65 was compared against the EPA reference air quality analyzers from December 2016 to April 2017. Overall the results indicate a high degree of correlation and low rates of long term drift for all measurements. In summary:
- Ozone (O3) showed excellent correlation: R2 = 0.93
- Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) showed good correlation: R2 = 0.87
- Particulate matter (PM2.5) showed excellent correlation: FEM R2 = 0.92; FRM R2 = 0.94
- Data capture rate of 99% exceeded the capture rates of the reference station measurements.

New South Wales, Australia OEH colocation field study
An AQM 65 was installed at the New South Wales Office of Environment and Heritage (NSW OEH) Chullora reference air quality station for four months. The study evaluated the AQM 65 data correlation with local reference air quality data from November 2015 to February 2016. Overall the AQM 65 performed reliably and accurately. In summary:
- Ozone (O3) showed high correlation: R2 = 0.98
- Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) showed high correlation: R2 = 0.82
- Carbon monoxide (CO) showed high correlation: R2 = 0.86
- PM2.5 showed high correlation: R2 = 0.86
- PM10 showed high correlation: R2 = 0.80
- Recorded 90% data validity for hourly data, and >95% for daily data
- Demonstrated excellent response to ambient conditions, including very good ability to measure relatively low ambient concentrations.
