The agreement signals an intent to combine Aeroqual’s integrated air quality monitoring systems with key Thailand-based partners to deliver best-in-class solutions to the Thai Government’s climate and pollution reduction initiatives.
Aeroqual has announced an intention to collaborate with local experts on potential Government of Thailand sustainability projects, signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Thailand-based partners, Chata Instruments Company Limited (“Chata”) and Samart Group (“Samart”). A global leader in the development, design, and manufacturing of integrated air quality systems for over twenty years, Aeroqual currently provides hardware and software for commercial and industrial use in over 100 countries on all seven continents. The official signing ceremony was hosted in Thailand by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) and witnessed by New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Rt Hon (“The Right Honourable”) Winston Peters, as part of an official government visit to Thailand.
This agreement recognizes an opportunity to deliver significant value to the Government of Thailand, enriching Thailand 4.0 and Green Industry Thailand initiatives with advanced ambient air quality monitoring and management solutions. As an authorized Aeroqual Channel Partner, Chata will supply, install, integrate, and provide technical support on Aeroqual projects throughout the region. Samart will leverage its extensive market reach and project implementation capabilities to jointly deliver maximum value to the Government of Thailand and other potential customers.
By witnessing the MOU signing ceremony, New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Winston Peters evoked recent comments made on New Zealand’s commitment to strengthening business relations with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) states: “The Coalition Government is seriously focused on boosting New Zealand’s engagement with Southeast Asia. Since taking office, we have been backing up our words with action.”
As an experienced distributor of environmental monitoring tools and systems from the world’s leading suppliers, Chata is equipped to offer high-level technical knowledge and exemplary service to the Government of Thailand and Aeroqual’s Thailand-based customers. Samart, comprising a group of four technology companies with a long-standing national presence, and known for its focus on promoting Thailand’s sustainable development, will manage commercial relationships, communication systems, and data networks on all collaborative projects between the three parties.
As Aeroqual continues to innovate and build upon its extensive range of cutting-edge air quality solutions, this partnership agreement bolsters potential pathways for sharing this technology with the Government of Thailand and its people, both now and into the future.
