Aeroqual has been acquired by Industrial Scientific Corporation, a Fortive company and global leader in connected gas detection and environmental monitoring technologies. As part of this transition, all product security vulnerability disclosures for Aeroqual products are now managed by the Industrial Scientific Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT).
Our commitment
Industrial Scientific PSIRT is committed to receiving, investigating, and responding to security vulnerability reports in a responsible and transparent manner. We collaborate with customers, partners, penetration testers, and security researchers who disclose issues in good faith, and we adhere to industry-standard vulnerability ratings through the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) and Common Vulnerability Exposure (CVE) frameworks.
All Aeroqual products — including connected monitoring devices and associated cloud platforms — are within scope of the Industrial Scientific PSIRT process.
What to expect
Upon submission of a vulnerability report, you can expect the following:
- Acknowledgement of your submission from the Industrial Scientific PSIRT team.
- Triage and assessment of the reported vulnerability against our priority rating system.
- Coordinated communication throughout the investigation and remediation process.
- Remediation may be in the form of a new release, a security update, instructions to download and install an update or patch from a third party, or a workaround to mitigate the vulnerability.
We ask that reporters make a good faith effort to avoid privacy violations, disruption of services, or unauthorized access to data during any testing activity.
How to report a vulnerability
When completing your submission, please ensure you include the following:
- URL of Affected Product — provide the relevant product page or system URL where the vulnerability was identified.
- Affected Version or Service (Aeroqual) — specify the Aeroqual product name, firmware version, or service version affected.
- A clear description of the vulnerability and steps to reproduce.
This information will ensure your report is triaged accurately and without delay.
