Product Overview

Maintaining an up-to-date calibration certificate gives you and project stakeholders confidence in the data from the air monitoring instruments. But sending equipment away for calibration can take weeks, which is downtime you can’t afford. Holding spares in reserve is an additional cost and can be a logistical nightmare.

Our Hot-swap Service makes the process of factory calibration easy. We send you a freshly calibrated sensor head from our stock. You replace the old sensor head with the new one and send the old one back to one of our distributors for recycling. And that’s it – calibration all up to date and zero downtime.

How does the Aeroqual Hot-swap Service work?

When your calibration certificate is coming up for expiry, Hot-swap the sensor head in three easy steps:

  1. Place an order with your local supplier.
  2. They can either ship you the replacement sensor head, or arrange a time to visit your site.
  3. Swap your existing sensor head for one that has been factory refurbished and calibrated.

The Hot-swap currently covers sensor heads used with Series 300/500 and Ranger handheld monitors.

FAQs

Aeroqual Hot-swap Service keeps your calibration certificate up to date without the downtime. We send you a fully refurbished and calibrated sensor head before you need to remove your old one. This allows for a quick replacement swap, after which the old sensor head can be shipped back to a local supplier.

Maintaining an up-to-date calibration certificate gives you and project stakeholders confidence in the data.

Zero Downtime

Normally if your sensor head required calibration, it would need to be sent back to the manufacturer. This is downtime you can’t afford. Our Hot-swap Service is the solution, reducing disruption and downtime for your monitoring equipment.

Standard Warranty

The Hot-swap Service goes beyond your current product warranty. The standard warranty protects against product defects. Parts on your product have a natural life depending on the time it was first used and your local environment. A standard warranty does not cover wear and tear, neglect, or a sensor head's natural end of life.

The Hot-swap Service has been designed for customers who value the accuracy of their air quality data, want to maintain fully calibrated equipment for regulatory reasons, and need to maintain a high level of monitoring uptime and availability.

No, you do not need to return your old sensor, but we recommend that you do, so that it may be properly recycled.

  1. A customer purchasing a Hot-swap Service for calibration is, in good faith, returning a sensor head that is operational.
  2. Customers may return-ship replaced sensor heads to their local supplier for their eventual recycling and/or disposal.
